Hornsea Mere Restoration Project - Groundworks

Groundworks Green Team are looking for a team of volunteers to join them to help with removal of Himalayan balsam at Kirkholme Point, Hornsea Mere.
Himalayan balsam in an Invasive Non-Native plant which spreads rapidly, engulfing native plants and causing damage to important habitats.
Can you spare 2 hours next week to help?
Meeting Place: Kirkholme Point, Hornsea Mere (close to the jetties across from the sailing club)
Dates: Monday 23rd March
10am 12noon
Wednesday 25th March
1pm 3pm
You will need to wear suitable clothing boots, long sleeves, long trousers.
Gloves and equipment will be provided, as well as refreshments.
