Although the club does not run its own training programme, sailing lessons for novices can usually be organised through the Hornsea Mere Marine Company with a qualified instructor - contact 01964 533277.

Newcomers to the sport can gain further experience within the club and many progress to join in the racing events - check our crewing opportunties section for details of the easy way to get started in racing if you already have a little sailing experience.
