Crewing opportunities

Nearly every race day there are boats at the club who need crews - either because the helm has not yet paired up with a permanent crew or because their usual crew member is unavailable. Crewing for someone is an excellent way to learn the sport of sailing, giving less experienced sailors the opportunity to develop under the guidance of a more experienced club members - its how most of the club's top sailors started! So if you already know a little about the basics of sailing (racing experience is not essential) check the 'crews wanted' below - or just come along to the club on any Sunday afternoon by 13.00 (racing starts around 14.00) - or contact the class captains during the week before.
